Conditions We Treat

You don't need to arrive with a diagnosis, and you don't need to know which practitioner to book. Find the area closest to what you're feeling, or tell us what's going on and we'll work it out with you.

UNSURE

If you're not sure what's wrong

Not knowing is completely normal

Pain doesn't always stay where the problem is. A stiff hip can show up as back pain. A tight neck can show up as a headache. Some pain moves around, and some starts without any obvious event at all.

That's why you're not expected to diagnose yourself before you book. Working out what is going on is the first job of your appointment.

Pick the page closest to where it hurts, or tell us what's going on and we'll point you to the right person.

PLAN

How we approach any condition

The same careful process, whatever brings you in

  1. 01

    Understand you first

What your week looks like, what you've already tried and what this is stopping you doing.

  2. 02

    Look above and below

We assess the painful area and the regions around it that share its workload.

  3. 03

    Treat and plan together

Hands-on care is paired with something to do between visits, built around your week.

  4. 04

    Stay through the strength phase

We keep working with you after the pain settles, while you rebuild capacity.

FAQ

Common questions

Before your first visit

Do I need a referral?

No. You can book directly with any of our practitioners. If you have a GP care plan, WorkCover or TAC claim, mention it when booking so the team can guide you.

What if I don't know what's wrong?

That's what the first appointment is for. Book with the practitioner you feel suits you best, or call us and describe what's going on. We'll work out a starting point together.

How much does it cost, and can I claim it?

Our services may be claimable through private health extras cover, depending on your policy, and on-site claiming is available. Check your cover with your fund, or call us for current fees.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on what's going on, how long it has been present and what you're working back towards. Your practitioner will talk you through a likely plan after your assessment and review it with you as you go.

Should I rest until my appointment?

Complete rest isn't usually needed. Keep moving in ways that feel comfortable and ease back on what clearly aggravates it. If you have severe pain, significant swelling after an injury or symptoms that worry you, see your GP or seek urgent care.
